Hakuba is a 2nd year transfer student to Kaito Kuroba and Aoko Nakamori's high school (Ekoda) who also happens to be a detective. Hakuba has come the closest to catching Kaitou Kid (apart from Shin'ichi Kudou). He is very certain that Kaito is Kaitou Kid. Like Shin'ichi, Hakuba admires Sherlock Holmes excessively to the point where he dresses in an Inverness cape and deerstalker as artist Sidney Paget protrayed The Master.

I'm assuming Hakuba and the others were born in 1971 since the first Kaito story was released in 1988. ^^;; January 6th is just a suggestion for Hakuba's birthday since it is never mentioned. January 6th is the generally accepted birthday for The Master (Sherlock Holmes) hence why I chose it for Hakuba.)
